130 km north east of Melbourne, access via Maroondah or Goulburn Hwys. Racecourse location.
Track climbs quickly from winning post to 1000m mark and then falls steadily to the start of the straight which is flat. Track is fully irrigated and well grassed. Soil type is clay and clay loam. Track is 15m wide to 300m then widens to 25m in straight.

Balnarring Racecourse – Balnarring Picnic Racing Club

71 km south east of Melbourne, access via the Frankston-Flinders and Coolart Roads. Racecourse location.
After the winning post the track falls gradually to a low point at about the 1000m mark after which it climbs steadily to the turn and into the straight. The track is 15m wide to the 300m mark and then widens to 25m for the straight.

Buchan Racecourse – Buchan and Gelantipy Race Club

359 km east of Melbourne, access via the Princes Hwy, turn off at Nowa or Orbost. Racecourse location.
Very picturesque track located amongst trees in midst of golf course. Home straight falls consistently to winning post and for 50m beyond. After this it rises quickly to the 1200m mark and then levels out until about the 400m mark. The soil type is variable, but predominantly clay.

Picturesque setting of racecourse in amongst a well-treed golf course. Track has a steady rise from the turn to the winning post and beyond for a further 200m. Back straight has a gradual down slope and turns are long and sweeping. Soil type is clay based.

Hinnomunjie off Benambra Rd. Undulating track with full grass cover. Straight has gentle rise and is reasonably wide.

After the winning post the track declines quickly to the 1100m mark and from there it climbs steadily to the finish. The chute is long and features a downhill slope followed by an incline up to the level of the course proper. The soil is clay.

105 km north east of Melbourne, access via the goulburn Valley Hwy. Racecourse location.
From the winning post the track declines quickly to the 1500m and stays at that level until the 800m mark. After this mark it rises rapidly to the 400m and then falls gradually to the 150m whereupon it rises again to the winning post. The course is fully irrigated and well grassed.
