Race 1 Yea St Pats Cup sunday feb 23 trophy (3) handicap - 1600 metres:

Che Spirit Which was late arriving on course due to transport difficulties was examined by the Clubs Veterinary surgeon and passed fit to start. Stood flatfooted at the start and lost considerable ground (3L). Trainer Mr Chris Davis was advised the gelding will be required to jump out to the satisfaction of the Stewards before it is permitted to race again. Raced three wide without cover in the early and middle stages before striding forward to settle outside the leader near the 600m.

Just A Gigolo Over raced in the early and middle stages. Raced in restricted room for a short distance approaching the 400m to the inside of Wessels. Passing the 300m was steadied and shifted to the outside of Che Spirit to continue to improve.

The Anarchist Over raced in the early and middle stages, getting its head up on several occasions.

Race 2 philip lobley wines trophy (1) handicap - 2140 metres:

Sister Hazel Slow to begin. Rider Jordan Sanders was fined $100 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 8 occasions prior to the 100m. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account his relative race riding inexperience and the totality of his whip use.

Trust In Time Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the event.

Johnny Romance Rider Grant Seccombe was fined $100 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account his good record and the totality of his whip use.

Race 3 tonys uno canoe for life maiden plate - 1300 metres:

Correct weight was delayed to allow the rider of the 2nd placegetter John Eady (Ever Loved A Woman) to view the official photo finish image before agreeing with the judges decision.

Bold Attack Stood flatfooted at the start losing considerable ground (3L). Trailed the field throughout and was uncompetitive. Trainer Mr Chris Calthorpe was advised the mare will be required to jump out to the Stewards satisfaction before it is permitted to race again.

Pearly Dazzler Hung out when leading in the early and middle stages. Rider Leigh Taylor was reminded of his obligations under the rules to ride all mounts out fully to the line at least hands and heels.

Superior Rose Stood flatfooted at the start and lost considerable ground (4L). Co-trainer Mr Troy Kilgower was advised the gelding will be required to jump out to the satisfaction of the Stewards before it is permitted to race again.

Jay Vee Tee Race three wide without cover throughout. Dipped passing the 200m.

Georgies Luce Slow to begin.

Family Witness Began awkwardly, losing ground (2L).

Make Me Dough Over raced in the early stages.

Zai Bu Zai Raced three wide without cover throughout. Hung out approaching and rounding the home turn.

Riohsei Raced four wide without cover throughout. Rider Tim Grace was fined $300 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 9 occasions prior to the 100m. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account his recent record and the totality of his whip use.

Race 5 reddrops foodworks sister olive handicap - 3000 metres:

Arlington Heights Near the 2600m shifted out when the pace slackened slightly, clipped the heels of Dont Shoot, knuckled and almost dislodged its rider Tim Grace. As the Stewards were of the opinion this incident was not the fault of any horse or rider no action was taken.

McGill (NZ) Laid in under pressure over the final 400m.

It Could Be You Was under pressure and losing ground from the 800m before being eased down by its rider over the final 200m. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bowed its near fore tendon. Trainer Mr Gordon Strang was advised the gelding will require a veterinary certificate of fitness before it is permitted to race again.

Race 6 2020 rodwells ruralco yea cup saturday jan 25 trophy (2) handicap - 1200 metres:

Aladdin Sane Slow to begin.

Tribal Myth Rider Shaun Cooper was reminded of his obligations under the rules to ride all mounts out fully to the line at least hands and heels.
