Race 1 MATT LADIES MAN BRUZZANITI CUP - 1008 metres:

Prior to declaration of correct weight, T. Grace, the rider of second placegetter (Outrigger), viewed the photo finish image, before agreeing with the judges placings.

Angel Toff Raced wide without cover throughout the event.

Cool Hand Began awkwardly. Rider G. Seccombe reported that the gelding was quite worked up pre-race and hung out throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was lame in the right hind and veterinary certificate must be produced prior to racing again.

Outrigger Raced wide without cover throughout the event. Rider T. Grace was fined $200 for using his whip on eight occasions prior to the 100 metre mark, in assessing penalty, stewards took into account his poor record and the totality of his whip use.

Crimson Queen Slow to begin.

Forest Lady Tightened shortly after the start between Nick The Barman and Cool Hand which shifted out after beginning awkwardly.

Lady Cornelia Raced keenly in the early stages. Laid out rounding the home turn.

Twistit Bumped and became unbalanced near the 700m by Cool Hand which was laying out.

Race 2 BONGIS BACHELORETTE - 1608 metres:

Wooped Em Again Slow into stride.

Cases Dream Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide without cover throughout the event.

Rococo Chanel Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.

Superior Rose Slow into stride.

Erodude Slow to begin. When racing keenly, passing the 1200 metres, got its head up.

Race 3 Tom Wilson Memorial - 1608 metres:

Eyes Are Blue (GB) Slow to begin

Cordoba Attempted to buck for a number of strides shortly after the start. Trainer R Maund was advised that the gelding must perform to the satisfaction of the stewards in a jump out in race day gear, prior to racing again.

Miss Vonlozzi Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the right fore and veterinary certificate must be produced prior to racing again.

Mr Gogarty Raced wide without cover throughout the event.

Race 4 The hmr heritage - 1008 metres:

Warrigal Mac Slow to begin.

Nickalo Unable to obtain clear running rounding the home turn and until the 100 metres.

Evening Spirit Rider M Keenan reported that after being momentarily held up, the mare then failed to run on as expected when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

Cost Dave a Penny Near the 700 metre mark, was momentarily steadied, away from the heels of Airborne Magic, which shifted in not quite clear, before being straightened by its rider. Rider L Taylor was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care when in similar circumstances. Near the 400 metre mark, was steadied to avoid the heels of Hay Buddy which shifted in. After considering all of the evidence, Rider C Heard was severely reprimanded and advised to exercise far greater when in similar circumstances.

Riohsei Began awkwardly.

Swanky Lady Began awkwardly.

Usain Brockstar Crowded for room shortly after the start between Swanky Lady and Hay Buddy.

Race 5 island equipment hire lynda turns 40 - 1008 metres:

Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Riders L Taylor (Exocet Rocket) and S Cooper (Kallara Village) viewed the stewards patrol film before both deciding not to lodge objections.

Scotopia Began awkwardly. Wide without cover throughout. Rider M Keenan could provide no explanation other than that it was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

Kallara Village Held up for clear running from the 400 metres until the 250 metres where he then changed course to the outside of the field to improve.

Normandy Lad Wide without cover throughout.

Davaluri Slow to begin and then tightened for room between Scotopia and Normandy Lad.

Kumo Began awkwardly.

Shanghai Rooster Slow to begin.

Race 6 ja cain real estate - 1708 metres:

East West After pulling a hind plate in the saddling enclosure, was replated. Performed below market expectations. Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

Family Witness After being caught wide, was allowed to stride forward to settle in the lead near the 1100 metres.

Skyschiller Had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 300 metres. Tactics queried, Rider S Cooper explained that he was instructed to find cover on the mare and after taking up a position behind Ponbar Finale in the early stages, got further back in the field than anticipated. He added that when the pace quickened his mount was left flat footed, however finished off the event fairly.

Ponbar Finale When improving passing the 400 metres, was steadied to avoid the heels of Double Elvis which commenced to give ground quickly. Brushed on the hindquarters and turned out by Double Elvis which was racing tight to the inside of Playboy Spike.

Double Elvis Approaching the 100 metres, when giving ground became unbalanced when tightened for room between Playboy Spike and Ponbar Finale which shifted out slightly, after being brushed on the hindquarters by Double Elvis.

Trust In Time Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.

Playboy Spike Fractious prior the start being effected.
