Race 1 THe north ringwood football club maiden plate - 1000 metres:

Wammo Began awkwardly and was then slow into stride.

Skilloni Slow into stride.

Red Moon Miss Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Passing the 700m dipped and shifted in slightly bumping Kuroyume.

Kuroyume Passing the 700m was inclined to shift away from Red Moon Miss, and was then bumped when Red Moon Miss dipped and shifted in slightly.

Persue Passing the 700m when racing tightly to the inside of Kuroyume, clipped the heels of Brightful that had changed legs and shifted away from the rail slightly. Stewards were of the opinion that Kuroyume was a major factor in Persue clipping the heels of Brightful, due to its shifting away from Red Moon Miss which was tight to its outside, therefore stewards did not feel that the incident was the fault of any one rider. Stewards however, did speak to G Brunsdon advisedly regarding giving extra room to runners on his inside when approaching a turn.

Brightful Passing the 700m changed legs and became unbalanced, shifting out slightly.

Race 2 The prestigious rich sweeney bucks day trophy race (3) handicap 1000 metres:

Dandarbong Began awkwardly.

Selwood Began awkwardly.

Stormus Raced wide throughout.

Warrigal Mac Rider Toby Lake reported that the gelding laid in throughout. A post race veterinary exam revealed no abnormalities.

Southern Silver Rider D Waymouth reported that the mare was held up approaching the home turn and she was unable to place her mount under pressure when she would have liked.

Little Red Rooster Trainer A Goble reported that the gelding was suited by the step back in distance today to 1000m.

Race 3 racv country club open trophy handicap 1200m metres:

Race 3 was delayed by 5 minutes due to Unruly Student being replated and Punjab Rocket being rebandaged.

Prior to correct weight, Rider C Pace asked to view the film as she believed the gates were delayed in opening. Stewards viewed the film with C Pace and trainer D Dwyer. Stewards believed that on the vision available it was difficult to determine whether the gate hadnt opened with the other gates, and were of the opinion as it hadnt affected the placings and therefore the mare was declared a runner.

Unruly Student Replated near fore prior to the race.

Punjab Rocket The T & J Kilgower stable were reminded of their obligation to stitch elastoplast bandages.

Sheer Force Began awkwardly. Near the 600m brushed the rail and became unbalanced.

Bon Jovial Raced wide without cover.

Howling Wolf The C Knight stable were reminded of their obligation to not remove blinkers until returning to the tie up area.

Race 4 jake egan stakes trophy race (2) handicap 1200 metres:

Race 4 was delayed by 4 minutes due to Moss And Me being replated.

Moss And Me Replated near fore prior to the race. Shifted Off hind plate during running. Rider D Walker was queried regarding her tactics. She reported that her instructions were to go forward and let the horse travel and not to restrain, and this was the reason she was satisfied with her position on terms with the leader. She stated she had previously ridden the gelding in this manner when successful.

Melomane Near the 1100m had to ease from the heels of Tycoon Bill.

Sinister Sums Raced wide without cover throughout. Near the 400m was eased when crowded between Cosmic Scoop and Rets.

Evolvement Rider C Pace could offer no explanation for the performance.

Tycoon Bill Rider M Keenan reported that his mount overraced throughout and was not suited by being challenged for the lead in the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.

Race 5 allard crystal mile open trophy race handicap 1650 metres:

Earthling Passing the 700m improved into a position outside of the heels of You Did What where there was insufficient room and as a result had to be eased after bumping with Celestial Sky.

Celestial Sky From the 1000m raced wide without cover. Passing the 700m bumped with Earthling. Rider D Walker reported the gelding is best suited to distances further than todays 1650m.

What Logic Rider T Grace reported that the gelding failed to travel and as a result lost contact through the middle stages before running on.

Race 6 rsn racing pulse maiden plate 1650 metres:

Wooped Em Again Began awkwardly.
