Subsequent to the running of race 1, the stewards ordered the water truck to be used on the course proper to limit the kick back of dust between races.

Race 1 WYNDHAM REST, LE RIVIERA CARAVAN PARK MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres:

JAYEMBEE Raced wide without cover, after negotiating the 600 metre turn faulted and lost ground, This resulted in rider T Lake easing the gelding out of the race as he felt there was something amiss with it. subsequent veterinary examination did not reveal any obvious abnormalities.

MOSS AND ME Held up for a clear run rounding the home turn until the 150 metres.

Race 2 JOHN DUKE MEMORIAL / TAC BUCHAN PLATE OPEN TROPHY HCP - 1000 metres:

LITTLE QUEEN Upon arriving on course underwent a veterinary examination and passed suitable to race.

Race 3 SALON CLASSIQUE, NOWA NOWA STORE TROPHY (2) HANDICAP 1700 metres:

ITZ A DEBACLE Began awkwardly, rider Ms J Geddes reported that the gelding faulted near 400m and as a result lost contact with the field, she further explained that ITZ A DEBACLE did not handle the tight turning track, A subsequent veterinary examination did not reveal any obvious abnormalities.

TREATY OF PARIS Subsequent to the race rider T Lake was stood down by the RVL Doctor due to suffering from dehydration.

BOLSHOI BELLE rider G Seccombe was reprimanded for giving a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post

Race 5 BAIRNSDALE SPORTING CONVENTION CENTRE, JILL MILLBOURN TROPHY (1) HCP - 1200 metres:

ROBIN THE RICH Performance queried, rider D Dean explained that although the gelding raced wide, when pressured from the 400m Robin The Rich hung in proving difficult for him to ride out with his usual vigour. A subsequent veterinary examination did not reveal any obvious abnormalities.
