Race 1 happy birthday liz young maiden plate - 1000 metres:

Coombe Wood After being fractious in the mounting yard underwent a pre-race veterinary examination behind the barriers before being passed fit to run.

Zupaming After being bumped by Coombe Wood in the mounting yard underwent a pre-race veterinary examination behind the barriers before being passed fit to run. Bounded on jumping losing ground (2L).

Vivlanite Slow to begin.

Token Gesture Commenced awkwardly shifting out and bumping Thats All Zariz.

Thats All Zariz Bumped on jumping. Raced wide without cover from the 600 metres.

Sunlight Sun Over-raced in the early and middle stages.

Copperhead Rose Lay in under pressure in the straight.

Race 2 st davids dairy trophy (3) - 1000 metres:

Girls Got Stars Commenced awkwardly. Shortly after the start buffeted between Silver Slew and Smash The Gong, both of which shifted ground marginally.

Silver Slew Bounded on jumping.

Goody Gumdrops Over-raced in the early stages.

Smash The Gong Held up for clear running rounding the home turn until straightening where it obtained running to the inside of Rock Hard Stars heels which lay out marginally.

Bellefontein Performed below market expectations. Rider C Pace stated that the mare raced flat and in her opinion had come to the end of its current preparation. Trainer R Stephens stated that it was now his intention to spell the mare. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

Race 3 em & seecktsy are getting hitched maiden plate - 1650 metres:

Sharkski Slow to begin. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Passing the 1400 metres became unbalanced when racing tightly between Charles Filou (NZ) and Foxy Charm which shifted in abruptly when racing ungenerously despite the efforts of its rider. Approaching the crossing at the 1200 metres when racing keenly had to be steadied and shift out away from the heels of Ciao Coni.

Foxy Charm Slow to begin. Passing the 1400 metres commenced to race ungenerously and shifted in. Raced wide without cover in the early stages before being allowed to stride forward to settle outside the leader passing the 1100 metres. Performed below market expectations. Rider T Lake stated that the mare raced ungenerously throughout and felt amiss in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

Ionaruby Over-raced in the early stages. Raced wide without cover from the 600 metres.

Ciao Coni Dipped making the crossing passing the 1200 meters.

Murphys Corner Held up for clear running rounding the home turn. Passing the 400 metres had to be steadied to avoid the heels of Foxy Charm which was commencing to weaken. Lay in under pressure in the straight.

Charles Filou (NZ) Lay in under pressure in the straight.

Race 4 racv healesville country club cup - 1650 metres:

Maldonado (NZ) Fractious in barriers prior to the start. Raced wide without cover until passing the 1000 metres. Performed below market expectations. Rider R Douglas stated that the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages though failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

Al Shahn Rider D Walker stated that the gelding was reluctant to stride out in the early stages and as a result trailed the field until approaching the 800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering from colic. Trainers K & G Mayberry were notified that prior to accepting to race again they would be required to produce a veterinary certificate of fitness for the gelding.

Carlsen Commenced awkwardly before being bumped by Ferrero which shifted out on jumping. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.

Heres To A King Commenced awkwardly.

Tearaway Tommy Over-raced in the early and middle stages.

Race 5 lock, stock & two smoking barras open trophy handicap - 1200 metres:

The start of this race was delayed approximately 4 minutes due to a tongue tie having to be fitted on Runs To Rule on arrival at the barriers.

Runs To Rule Trainer M Webb was fined $50 dollars under the provisions of AR140A(2) for presenting the gelding in the mounting yard without a tongue tie which is part of its approved racing gear and with blinkers which are not. On straightening when laying out had to be steadied away from the heels of Wild and Proud.

Wild And Proud Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.

Jive Music Raced wide without cover throughout.

Distillery (NZ) Over-raced in the early and middle stages.

Repercharge Rider A Bell reported that the gelding lay out rounding the home turn.

Chow Meow Rider C Kirkpatrick was severely reprimanded under the provisions of AR137A(5)(a)(i) for using his whip on consecutive occasions prior to the 100 metres.

Race 6 come to the golden thong 1st april trophy (1) HANDICAP - 1200 metres:

Silent Dance After being fractious in the mounting yard underwent a pre-race veterinary examination behind the barriers before being passed fit to run. Approaching the 1000 metres when being restrained to obtain cover commenced to over-race.

Creightons Creek After being bumped by Silent Dance in the mounting yard underwent a pre-race veterinary examination behind the barriers before being passed fit to run.

La Rita Lay in under pressure in the straight. Rider R Goodwin was severely reprimanded under the provisions of AR137A(5)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 8 occasions prior to the 100 meters.

Bar Date Slow to begin before being restrained to settle at the rear. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.

I Was Stan Raced wide without cover throughout.

Shes Miss Lippy Passing the 1000 metres had to be steadied and became unbalanced to avoid the heels of Hell Of A Mess (D Walker) which shifted out when racing greenly. D Walker was severely reprimanded under the provisions of AR137(a) for shifting ground when not fully clear.
