Other Comments / Explanations:

Stewards interviewed licensed picnic rider M Kennan and licensed trainer A Kennan regarding a report made by the official race day gate staff.

Max Kennan was reprimanded and reminded of his obligations when speaking to race day officials.

A Kennan was severely reprimanded for using abusive language to a race day official.

Due to weather forecasted and after viewing the radar from the bureau of meteorology which was showing rain in close proximity and the implications it may have on the track, stewards ordered the race times to be brought forward

Race 3 to start at 2:25PM.

Race 4 has been amended to 3:02pm

Race 5 has been amended to 3:33pm

Race 6 has been amended to 4:03pm

Race 1 DROUIN VET CLINIC MAIDEN PLATE 1200 metres:

STORMUS Rider Ms C Pace (2nd Place getter) reported that the gelding laid out when under pressure rounding the home turn and was disappointing in its overall performance. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

LA MONET Slow to begin

Race 2 WARRAGUL DRY CLEANERS TROPHY HANDICAP - 1200 metres:

RAGTIME began awkwardly

Race 3 DROUIN HOME TIMBER & HARDWARE OPEN TROPHY HANDICAP 1200 metres:

INGIO - Slow to begin

FERRERO - Under veterinary examination at the barriers and passed suitable to run.

YOUIZ JANE Bled both nostrils suspended for racing for 3 months. Trainer M Bell advised that the mare will be now be retired.

Race 4 CUTTING EDGE ELECTRICAL DROUIN CUP - 1775 metres:

RAPETE Extremely fractious in the barrier prior to the starter releasing the field. Trainer J Kilgower was notified that the RAPETE was now suspended from racing until it officially trials twice to the stewards satisfaction. Mr Kilgower advised that RAPETE will be retired.

LARDNER LOU Held up for a clear run, rounding the home turn and until the 200m

Race 5 MAIDEN PLATEROGER MANSON PANELS - 1775 metres:

CUTTING REIN Rider Ms C Pace reported that the mare was a beaten horse passing the 600m as a result finished a distant last. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

WICKED WITHIN Began awkwardly and lost ground, was then ridden along early and eventually led the field. On pulling up rider M CORBISERIO had a harmless fall.

Race 6 ROYAL HOTEL TROPHY (2) HANDICAp - 1600 metres:

EXPONENTIAL stood flat footed and lost ground. Suspended until it trials to the satisfaction of stewards.
