The first at Woolamai was won by Tolago Man ridden by Courtney Pace for trainer by Ricky Maund. The 5yo chestnut horse after starting awkwardly, won easily, beating the favourite Trevor, who struggled with the top weight of 68 kilos, by 5.75 lengths.

Courtney Pace made it two from two aboard Hot Lei. Trained by Ern Ewert, Hot Lei started the hot odds on favourite, winning the 1508m Maiden Plate by 1.25 lengths

Stoney Creek trainer Tracey Josephs and jockey Matthew Corbisiero, made it two wins and a second from three starts this season with High Richdale. The 5yo mare won the 1008m Trophy (3) by a length, beating Mt Sugarloaf and favourite Tycoon Georgia. 

The T J Memorial Ladies Bracelet Maiden Plate over 1008m was won by Peta Tait aboard Bedastdona. Trained by Rachael Cunningham, the 6yo recently been gelded, won easily by 4.5 lengths

Treble to Courtney Pace, winning on the Mick Bell trained Youiz Jane. In the closest finish of the day, Youiz Jane held off equal favourite, Rich Tycoon, to win the 1008m Open Trophy Handicap by 0.75 of a length.

In the last, the 1508m Open Trophy Handicap, there was daylight between the winner, Coffee and the rest of the field. Winning by 6.75 lengths, Grant Seccombe rode Coffee to victory for Cranbourne trainer Sharon Cunningham.
