First of a double on the day for both trainer Steven Noble and jockey Toby Lake with Silver Slew winning the 1000m Maiden Plate. The 4yo chestnut mare easily accounted for the odds on favourite Halpin winning by 2 lengths.

The 1000m Open Trophy Handicap saw Steven Noble completing his double with Mariposa Lily winning. Jockey Reece Goodwin held on to win by 0.2 of a length from Rich Widow.
Apprentice Natasha Baxter and trainer Ron Hockley combined to score their second win for the season with Del Mishel winning the 1200m Trophy (1) Handicap. Great effort with two wins and two seconds from four starts.
With his first ride this season, Clay Beasy rode top weight Boiled Egg to victory for trainer and owner, Carlo Vidotto. In a closely fought battle with the favourite Keep Happy, Boiled Egg got the upper hand on line, to win the 1200m Trophy Handicap by half a length.

The Mark Thomas trained gelding, Master Luca, completed a double for apprentice Toby Lake. In a full field of ten and starting from barrier 9, Master Luca came down the outside of the track to win by 0.75 of a length.

In the last, Jockey Christopher Brown and trainer Gordon Strang joined forces to win the 1650m Handicap. Beating the favourite Rawlings by 0.75 of a length, It Could Be You scored its second win for the season.
