Balnarring Report
As usual, the weather gods shone upon Balnarring and whilst it was a very hot 39 deg. in Melbourne down along the bay temperatures where reduced to a far more hospitable 30 deg. or so. A good crowd was in attendance with many marquees holding Xmas functions. The club have done a fantastic job of promoting this meeting to its customers and the meeting has gone from strength to strength each year.

Riding honours for the day went to apprentice Clay Beasy who rode not only his first winner but landed a double aboard Conserve and Umanugget. Both horses were trained by Brendan Woodman and won at the good odds of $12-00 and $6-00 respectively.

Congratulations Clay !!

Dani Walker also landed a double for the day aboard two short priced favourites Fontainette and Somethingaboutmax giving punters something to cheer about.

Conserve wins for Clay Beasy.

Next week we have a "double header" with Woolamai having their Xmas meeting on the Saturday and Yea on the Sunday. Early weather prediction for Woolamai is a partly sunny 20 degs and for Yea a mild 25 degs.
