As I do not work at Buchan I don't have a report this week. However, from the discussions on the Picnic Racing Facebook page it seems as though there was a bit of controversy about some of the results given they do not operate a photo finish. Let us all hope both the club and RVL have learnt from this and things move forward with next years meeting having the required equipment in place.
Congratulations go out to Danielle Daniel who once again rode a double and won the Buchan Cup on the Bob Triplow trained Go Zam at $6-00. Go Zam has taken some time to hit his straps this preparation but did show improvement last week in the Woolamai Cup and has followed that form up with this win.
Results for Buchan Cup.
Next Week ....
Next week is a "double header" with Woolamai on the Saturday and Yea St. Pats Cup on the Sunday. Early weather predictions are for fine and sunny both days. If Woolamai picks up where it left off from its Cup meeting last week we should see some top racing.
For those that have not been to the annual Yea St. Pats Cup meeting it is one worth the trip. The meeting is sponsored by Skilled Engineering and it is always an exciting meeting with lots of entertainment and very professionally run.
