FORT CUSTOM WINS THE SKILLED GROUP ST PAT'S CUP 2009
Yea St. Pats put on yet another top meeting this year and Fort Custom easily took out the Cup. Well ridden by apprentice Jacob Londregan the Danny Curran trained 7yo gelding went to the front at the top of the straight and drew away to win by six lengths.

The consistent Ancient Faeroe ran on strongly for second with Justa Pretender filling third placing. Results for Yea. View the days happenings at the Gallery.

BISMUTH WINS THE RACV HEALESVILLE COUNTRY CLUB CUP
Bismuth atoned for its unlucky second last start at Drouin when it was trapped wide throughout the running. Despite starting again from the widest draw of the field apprentice jockey Craig Kirkpatrick went straight up on the pace and took the 4yo mare on to a strong victory.

Recently changing trainer to Katrina McAdam she has found the secret to successfully training the horse to maximise its ability.

Duragal was well backed at $21-00 and finished second with Snakie at $4-40 taking third place.

Riding honours this week went to Shane McGovern who rode a double on Forbidden and Catino Belle. Once again punters had the edge over the bookies with three of the six favourites winning and the others all well backed.

Results for Healesville. View the days happenings in the Gallery.

Good luck on the punt,

Peter Bon
